We are proud to announce our new series of realistic artificial grass called Emerald-DX2. For artificial grass to look realistic you must mirror the natural look of real grass in the environment. Other artificial grass suppliers use one or two tones of rich coloured green and once installed looks almost too perfect.
At Gorilla Grass we have developed a state of the art artificial grass surface with four tones of fibres. Olive and emerald green tones with an inclusion of an extra brown and green soft curles that sit just under the main fibres. This results in a perfect contrast of green tones with a touch of brown to enhance a realistic looking artificial grass backyard.

What does this mean?

Pile Height This is the height of the artificial grass fibres. A lot of artificial grass companies supply 20mm high fibres which is too small for a natural looking backyard and looks extremely fake. Some other suppliers sell 50mm high grass which can fall and sag after time resulting in a poor looking backyard. Our extra two tone curles underneath the artificial grass not only looks good but helps keep all of the fibres fluffed up and looking fresh for many years.
Material PE5500 & PP4400 are called Polyethylene and Polypropylene. One of the strongest and long lasting materials for our harsh Australian conditions.
Fibre Monofilament fibres means a single strand of a man made fibre so being one piece makes it more durable then other non monofilament artificial grass fibres.
Gauge 3/8 means the distant apart from each stitch line. The further away the gauge the less thickness of the artificial grass will become. 3/8 gauge is a good distant for thicker looking artificial grass. Please check other suppliers gauge and compare them to ours.
Stitch Rate 18 stitches per 10cm's. This is the amount of stitches that are placed in a 10cm length. Similar to the above comment it means a rate of 18 stitches per 10cm's is a good thick stitch for a better looking artificial grass surface. Please compare out stitch rate to other artificial grass suppliers.
Backing Dual layer and latex coated artificial grass backing means you are buying a double layer of backing to ensure maximum strength of stitches and overall heavier grass to last many years.
